My father once walked away from a company that was making money.
He had opened it in 1981, a small painting company, just to pay for his university fees. And it worked. He had happy customers, real jobs, and money coming in.
So why would he shut it down?
Well, the company had one problem. My father was the only one who could sell. Every job started with him, so the company could never run without him.
He never found a way out of the sales seat. And when he had to choose between the company and his degree, there was no real choice. He shut it down, and he gave up on something that was working.
I think about that a lot. Because more than 40 years later, I meet owners living the same story every single week. The company works. The jobs come in. But everything still depends on the owner selling.
That's why I created this company. I want to change the story that contractors tell their families, one company at a time.
How? By filling home service sales teams with killers, so the company can finally grow past the owner.
